She was the goddess\/personification of health  (Greek) \u1f51\u03b3\u03af\u03b5\u03b9\u03b1 &#8211; hugieia), cleanliness and sanitation. She also played an important part in her father&#8217;s cult.  <\/p>\n<p>While her father was more directly associated with healing, she was associated with the prevention of sickness and the continuation of good health.
