A portable mercury sphygmomanometer (.1), used to measure blood pressure. Built into the lid of a hinged metal box with a slim sleeve that could be manually inflated, this tool made measuring blood pressure a readily portable process. Included is a stethoscope (.2), which could be worn around the neck.
