Description
A slipper bedpan, designed in a wedge shape to assist positioning, made in a wide, rectangular shape of white crockery. Although a slim handle was once attached, it has broken off and is stored with the bedpan.
Enameled inscription reads: "The New Slipper Bed Pan: This Slipper should be passed under the Patient in front between the legs; If a flannel cap is made for the blade, fastened by strings under the handle, considerable comfort will be afforded."
