On the upper lid, labeling reads "For Maximum Results in Hypodermic Administrations Use Vim Syringes with Vim Stainless Steel Needles." followed by a paste-on maker's mark reading "Registered Trade Marks / VIM / U.S. Pat Off 121560 / Canada NS 955 R2 / "Laminex" / U S Pat Off 24281518 / Canada Pat 430469".

The light blue paperboard inset in the bottom of the box, designed to hold the needles in place, is labeled "MacGREGOR Instrument Company / VIM "Laminex" Stainless Steel / Needham, Massachusetts, U.S.A" and "Made in U.S.A.".
