On Sept 13th, 2023 our VGH Class of Sept. 73 celebrated our 50th Anniversary with 30 of our class members at my home in South Surrey B.C. We had classmates travel from New Zealand, California, Edmonton, Trail, Vancouver Island, the Interior and the lower mainland. It’s hard to believe it’s been 50 years since we all graduated to launch our nursing careers. Our Class valedictorian , Karyn Valleau Smith read out her speech from 50 years ago and we all realized how the wisdom of her words still applied to all of us today. Within a short time gathering it was as if no time had elapsed since we graduated. We want to thank you for the generous gift of $500 towards our luncheon.
We celebrated with great company, excellent food, Champagne and a VGH cake for
dessert and lots of laughs.
